Playing outside is fun, exciting and important for children's learning and development. We will have a range of different activities each week such as nature trails, painting outdoors, puddle jumping, bug hunts and much more. As this is an outdoor programme, please check the weather in advance to plan appropriate clothing and footwear. Don't forget your coats and welly boots if it is raining!

Little Rainbows is a play development group for 2-3 year olds. It is specially tailored for children who may require a little extra support with their speech, communication, play, social skills or development. The group has a lower number of children in attendance with a maximum of 4 children in each group. There is also a higher staff ratio with a minimum of 3 staff members in each group, creating an almost 1 to 1 ratio. This group is facilitated by an Early Years Supervisor, Early Years Assistant and our Additional Needs Worker. 

This is our additional needs group. It is open to children age 0 – 3 years old, who may require a little extra support. It takes the format of Little Adventurers, where Parents/ Carers will stay with their children. The structured sessions allow children opportunities to play and develop their social and communication skills. We have input from local professionals and a higher Staff ratio, with lower numbers of children, to allow space to explore in a calm environment. Our sensory room is also open for use. 

This is our sensory and messy play session. These are for children age 0 – 3 and run in all areas for 6 week sessions.

We know how much your little ones enjoy dance, movement and action songs. So we have a new programme called Little Movers and Groovers! This is a 6 week programme for children that includes dance and action songs for physical development and songs to encourage Speech & Language.

Parents/carers and children 0-3 years are welcome to these weekly drop in play sessions full of fun and creative play.  We offer a relaxed and informal atmosphere for you and your children to play. Children will have the opportunity for free play, arts and crafts, a healthy snack, songs and a story. 

A programme for children in their pre pre-school year (term-time). These play based sessions provide a range of age appropriate activities which enhances all aspects of their learning and development as well as their imagination and creativity.

Our Little Explorers play programme is specifically designed for children under the age of one. This programme, runs alongside our drop in baby clinics.  A member of our early years team will deliver different weekly activities specifically designed for babies from birth to one. A wonderful sensory experience for our youngest children, with songs, messy play and a lot of fun.
